The Treasure Cove store at the library is open Monday – Saturday 11-1. These hours are maintained by volunteer workers on a regular basis but there are times when the hours change. We also have a volunteer who collects the King’s receipts for added income.

The Treasure Cove merchandise consists of many different items for sale. We have used books, (hardback, paperback/trade, classics, cookbooks, children and specialty) puzzles, DVD’s, CD’s, Jewelry, and seasonal and decorative objects. Many of our items are donated but there are also some things that are purchased new.

Book Donations

We are open to receive your book donations at 660 Spring Street (follow the signs to the back of the building) on Tuesday or Thursday from 10-Noon.

We accept donations of books, trade paperbacks, paperbacks, CD’s and DVD’s we believe we can sell. All proceeds go to support the library programs and needs. All donated items must be intact and in good condition with no rips, tears, stains, or musty smells. Hard backs should have dust covers.

We DO NOT accept the following items: Almanacs, Catalogues, Dictionaries, DIY over 5 years, Encyclopedias, Magazines, Political exposes, Recorded books, Religious texts, Self Help materials, Textbooks, Year Books, and dated materials such as old travel guides, dated tech and device guides.

Currently we have several volunteers who are helping with the Treasure Cove hours. Volunteering for the Treasure Cove for a 2-hour shift helps us extend our hours and also provides an opportunity to help with displays, replenishing stock and greeting people when they enter the library.
